What True Colors lacks in the emotional gut-wrench that the previous games have, it makes it for with a refined format that presents a story that fits right into the series and tells it in the best way seen so far.
Its definitely much shorter than the previous life is strange games. For example, it took me around 35 hrs to complete all chapters of life is strange 2 whereas only 14 hrs to complete LiS true colours and the wavelengths dlc. Also the main story in True Colours takes too long to gather pace.

I love the Life is Strange Franchise. I may not be a lis fanboy. However, let me tell you I love the franchise. Life is strange 1,2 and even before the storm I consider my top ten favorite games of all time. So my opinion of the game does hurt a lot because I truly wanted to love the game. Episode 1 starts off real nice.
