White band or streak across the top of all of my photos from my research tells me I have a sticky shutter. In LIVE view mode (not looking through the viewfinder), there is no white band across the top of the photo. And when I shoot looking through the viewfinder (not LIVE view mode) and do burst of 5D Mark III - Shutter Replacement - Anyone have this done and does anyone have ballpark Canon cost? Thanks

Shutter replacement. I recently got a used canon 5d Mk IV for a really good price, however it obviously has a high shutter count. I got an estimate for a shutter replacement from the camera store that I bought it from and it was an insane amount. ($500+) I was wondering if anyone has had this done on a 5d and how much it costed.

In fact, I shot so much on it that I had to bring it in for a shutter replacement and a few other repairs already. Fortunately, the Canon 5D Mark IV is good at those as well: 24.8-bit color
