Kuga 2021 PHEV - unable to start. I had an odd issue earlier today. Drove the car to work and parked up as normal. pressed the engine off button and then a couple of mins later tried to restart the car however was not able to. The dash ( ive got the all digital display) remained black and the sync screen remained black.Posted December 7, 2022. This morning on my way to work (about 2 degrees outside) my 2021 MY Kuga AWD went into limp mode. I basically had no power and could accelerate to only 20mph. I stopped a couple of times to see what was up. No warning on the dash except a spanner symbol but no wording. Each time I pulled away it would begin ok then go 2014 kuga 2l diesel overheating. Hi all. I have a 64 plate titanium x. Had the car for 8 months. After 4 months, car overheated and went into limp mode, had no warning lights or messages and no steam from the bonnet. Since then I've replaced the thermostat, water pump, cam belt and radiator cap. I've also had diagnostics, compression tests done. Update 31 October 2020: According to several news sites, a Ford spokesperson said that the company has found the cause of the battery problems in the Kuga PHEV. Impurities in the cells caused the batteries to overheat. The cells apparently came from Samsung SDI. For all of the approximately 33,000 delivered Kuga models with plug-in hybrid drive

Engine malfunction. Hi I have a 62 plate kuga and I was having problems with the engine malfunction warning. It stated by just showing the EML light so plugged it into a diagnosis and got code p2452 which was dpf sensors. I have changed the dpf pressure sensor and it seemed to solve the problem. I done a 500 mile trip with no issues over a week
Some sealant might leak out, but that’s normal. • Screw the dust cap back on, unplug the power cable and unscrew the sealant. • Drive about two miles / three kilometres so the sealant can seal the damaged area. • Pull over and check the tyre to make sure the repair has worked. If necessary, top up the pressure with your Inflation Kit.The oil level can be checked by pulling out the dipstick, which is normally located close by and is headed by a yellow ring. Remove the dipstick, clean it off with an old piece of cloth or paper towel, and return it to the engine. Take it out once more and check the level – there should be ‘Max’ and ‘Min’ readings on the stick itself.

If you have a close look there is a little grill in the dash near your left knee. The sensor has a small fan in it to draw the cabin air in and these are prone to making a buzzing noise.
